PHNOM PENH, Cambodia, 18 September 2024 — Neak Oknha Chen Zhi, Chairman of Prince Holding Group, through Prince Foundation, has donated $1 million to Cambodia’s newly established “Foundation for Border Infrastructure Development” fund, reaffirming Prince Foundation’s mission of empowering communities and advancing Cambodia’s development. This contribution underscores the foundation’s commitment to promoting education, community well-being and healthcare access in underserved areas by addressing critical infrastructure needs at Cambodia’s borders.

Through this donation, Prince Foundation supports national socio-economic growth and emphasizes its holistic approach to community development. By improving these infrastructures, the foundation is committed to bridge the gaps in education. This is achieved through improving access to schools in remote areas, enhancing healthcare services through better connectivity and fostering economic opportunities that uplift border communities.

The fund, initiated by Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet, focuses on developing key infrastructure along Cambodia’s borders, particularly the construction of a strategic border ring road. This initiative aligns with national priorities of peace, territorial integrity and sustainable development while playing a vital role in empowering communities by ensuring they benefit from improved access to essential services and opportunities.
